What I'm pleased about is that writers-no all-just the serious ones-appreciate what it takes to sell your book AFTER you've written it. I tell this to every writers group I stand before, "Writing your story is the easy part..." Experienced writers understand that getting readers to plunk down hard earned money requires a skill set that extends FAR beyond writing their stories. If we didn't know that 20 plus years ago when the publishing landscape began its shift, we do now. Great piece and as I said in our podcast, (https://writergal10.substack.com/podcast) I really don't know any working writer working harder than you are out here.... keep it up. Wouldn't 'Honeymoon at Sea' be a fun film to watch, inspiring love story.....
Good grief, Jennifer! you are so wired, you almost made me tired! No stone unturned. So excellent how you have beat the bushes and promoted HaS. To the nines! The photos are fun too. And you got your ms to your publisher Fast! May! wow. All the best to you, suerte!
I'm exhausted! just reading your list, Jenny. What an inspiration you are. You've worked so hard at promoting your book and connecting with readers and this long list proves it. And the love of it--the writing, the story, the whole publishing and post-publication journeys—all this comes across in your posts. Thanks for continuing to show us how it's done.
PS. Love your connection with and promo of Alicia Dara and Womancake. I love what she does, too.

From your mouth to someone's ear! Thanks for the vote of confidence.
WOW that IS a year, Jennifer! Big congrats, and thanks for being an ongoing part of the Womancake universe :)
So happy to be a part of it!

Well, I had been working on it for 25 years so speed is relative...
You know Helen Landalf too? We have so many points of intersection! Just finished the book. It made me so hungry for fresh seafood!
My work is done. Go get some fresh fish!
I had just bought clams when I read your stack. Not the same as diving, but it will do.
Definitely. Buen provecho!
