Jennifer, your mktg seminar sounds really good. And your post was filled with such practical information (and reminders) to all authors. Also, sorry for your recent losses.
Good discussion, Jenny! Sorry, I can't participate in the class because it conflicts with a pre-Santa Semana meal with Maria's family. Knock their socks off! Best regards.
Such great counsel and advice, Jenny. Thank you. Your line about not just shouting out "BUY MY BOOK" made me laugh. Playing six-word memoirs with my daughter this weekend I came up with: "I'm a writer. Buy my book." (ha ha we laughed) But the one I liked best was this (and it works for you, too): "I'm an editor. I kill darlings."
I didn’t see this…darn it!
Well said, Jenny. I continue to do my own outreach, which resonates particularly with bicyclists.
Exactly. You know your readership (or is it ridership?)

Thank you my friend!

You are so on top of marketing, and your energy is obviously coming back, just in time for you to get in gear with marketing the new book! :)
Ooh, good one for me. In my moody blue mood my version would be:
Life means losing people you love.
