LOL. Have you read Laurel Canyon by Michael Walker? I'm probably a lot older than you but the folk-rock of the late sixties and early seventies stirs my soul. Just heard CSN&Y's Suite Judy Blue Eyes and was singing at the top of my lungs. Do you review women's fiction? I'd love for you to consider my 2023 novel A CLEFT IN THE WORLD. Have a lovely day!

Yes, Laurel Canyon was great. I'm a hippie kid from Venice Beach so yes to CSNY and sixties rock. I'd be happy to read and review. I only review what I like so it's no harm no foul! Can you send me a PDF? I read on my Kindle as I love on a Small Boat.
That is just the nicest way to review. All reviewers should adopt that (merciful) method! When I review a book--even if I DNF it--I always give the effort 4 or 5 stars and simply "a great book," or something simple. X
Thanks, Jenny for all the reveiws. My TBR pile is becoming dangerously tippy. Love the cover image on "Yellow Birds." Those bellbottoms!
The whole book has that feeling of deja vu. Not nostalgic but real.
Love it, Jennifer. Your voice is compelling. Am putting the coming-of-age one on my TBR list. X
Quite a trip!

Oh what a great list of reads, Jennifer! You have been busy reading. I did love the "Bellbottom blues" cover on the first book! Just great!
